Hello, I'm Zemoxian. Captain of the Pointy Arrow Thingy.
I'm here for two reasons: American Pie and Slime mold.
First off, I saw American Pie ages ago. Later, I saw the "Band Camp Girl" (Sorry Aisu! ) actress on a TV show acting somewhat simiar to her nerdy character from the movie. (Willow was going off on some tangent then asked Oz why he didn't stop her.) Thus began my Joss Whedon addiction and my wife's hatred of all things Buffy. I eventually caught up with all Buffy reruns and then started into Angel. Then, of course I fathfully followed Firefly until it was cancelled. (Why do the BEST shows on TV get cancelled while all the crap hangs around for-frakkin'-ever?) Then the movie, then got PO'ed when Wonder Woman was canceled, ... yada, yada, yada, ...
Then one day, I can't recall why, I wound up on Wikipedia reading up about slime mold. (That happens to me a lot. I end up in all kinds of random Wikipedia articles for one reason or another.) Then, I found out about a chararater named Fred in a webcomic. Thus began my webcomic addiction. Up until then I was into occasional viewings of Dilbert and Doonesbury. After reading the entire archive of General Protection Fault, I needed more. So I started reading others until now, I reading a dozen or so comics. I was never really into comics before. There were a few of Doonesbury and Peanuts books I read through as a kid, but that was about it. But, I digress....
Anywho, GPF happened to have an ad with a referal link, I signed up and started playing. Thus began my Star Pirates addiction. Of course, when I found out about Serenity, it was the first fleet I thought of joining.
So, there you have it! Now you know:
