The beauty of these rice fields can be blurred by the white clouds and the wind. Such dreamlike scenery can only be seen in the early morning or after a sudden rain falling on the terraced fields lying along the mountain ranges. Sa Pa in Lao Cai Province, Hoang Su Phi in Ha Giang Province and Mu Cang Chai in Yen Bai Province are perhaps the three areas having the most beautiful terraced rice fields in Vietnam. They are also popular tourism sites for international tourists.
